Chrome add-on Rain Alarm

Has anybody else had a problem with Rain Alarm? I keep getting notified that it starts up automatically and runs in the background, even when my browser is closed. It never does anything, and I don't want it.

How do I shut down or uninstall this useless app on a Windows 10 PC? It doesn't appear in any of the usual lists of installed apps, and a search turns up no files. It's behaving like malware.

Found this here :

"The message comes from the old web app, NOT the extension and this is caused by Chrome slowly removing support for web-apps. I suggest you uninstall the web-app and instead use the Chrome extension. To uninstall the web app, enter the following into Chrome's address bar: "chrome://apps/" Right click on Rain Alarm und uninstall.

Many thanks, Jonpe! I've never come across "chrome://apps/" before, and there it was Hopefully, having removed Rain Alarm from there, my problem has now gone away.
