    <description>It's not surprising that there are a lot of cache misses considering a web browser or Windows operating system has its own cache, and only looks up hosts it doesn't already know the IP address of. Plus entries would only stay in the cache for the time that they are valid for, which might be only 10 minutes.</description>

      <description>That makes perfect sense ejs, i also use the router as a secoundary dns, so it does add up to a fair amount of misses when thinking about it that way, I just wasn't expecting so many misses i guess.&lt;BR /&gt;It stops the router cache/forwarder falling over which is the point of using it in the first place.&lt;BR /&gt;hits to the router for dns this month 1386481&lt;BR /&gt;hits for the unbound dns since i installed it about 2 weeks ago 192247&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
