I have just been introduced to the wonderful world of Broadband via Plus Net on the advice of a friend.
I cannot get over how amazingly helpful and cheerful the Support Team are, especially when dealing with er, girlie type questions. Being extremely non-technologically minded, and having no-one else here to ask, they are my only port of call.
Having just come off the phone to Oliver in the Customer Services office, I felt I really must praise him and all the team I have spoken to in the past for their help, joviality and patience.
Gold Stars all round!

Welcome aboard.
It might get through, but there is a "Row" going on in another thread about not putting the CSV's names in threads. Looks OK to me but lets wait and see.

Yes, welcome aboard and hope that you continue to enjoy your broadband, hopefully trouble-free. It makes me remember when I first got broadband - I was absolutely delighted (and still am really although the newness has worn off now).
Nice to see a newbie in the forum.

This (agent's names) is being discussed but this post from Ian Wild http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,70664.msg565605.html#msg565605 fairly well covers this situation

Quote

PS - I don't see a problem with first names being used at all

While this is not directed at any particular individual at Customer Services, in fact in the 10 years I have been a Madasafish customer I have always held the support in high esteem, but alas, as my last experience proves, things can go pear shaped and leave us banging our heads off a wall.
But having said that it still wasn't as rage inducing as some other ISP companies I could name.
