Can't open your email links using firefox

Cannot open email links from +net using Firefox any ideas or is it FF that is at fault ?

I get this

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.plus.net. Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s).

Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

OK, so it isn't an out-of-date browser issue - good.

Are you using webmail or an email client to receive the emails?

I find that very strange, assuming TB is up-to-date as well. Unfortunately I can't test it myself, as I am no longer with Plusnet, so get no communications from them.

Might be an idea if I ask the mods to move this to a more relevant board - if you agree?

Works perfectly for me, using FF94.0 on Linux.

Hah, like minds , it works fine for me on Windows 10 running under fedora on a vm .... looks like the problem is with fedora ff ... was the same on 93 too. oh and it works ok on edge on fedora and chromium too

Never used fedora - but I seem to remember it has caused problems for those using FF for a while.

My Linux distro is Zorin, BTW.

Hi all,

sorry I am new to this forum, and I could not find a way to post a new, but I am also experiencing this same issue "Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP" with Firefox 108.0.1 (64-bit) on Fedora release 37 machine.

Are there other users experiencing this issue, and has any one found a solution that does not compromise the security of the machine?

@annoyeddissatis This is a Fedora issue, as discovered previously - you need to ask them to sort it.
