We'll not do you proud? Just come off a chat where to be honest i felt patronised. I am an 18 month contract customer and the contract has come to an end. I pointed out why do existing customers not get these current deals? You have one for 29.99 Brodband Unlimited 76MB including line rental...i pay 38.98? How do you expect to retain your customer population? If the chat agent would have started the conversation with " i'll see if we can find you a deal Mr Gray" i would have most likely accepted it. instead, she really did not understand and i got what i would call the third degree. The customer should be at the heart of everything you do - is that not correct? In theory, as my contract has expired, am i not considered a new customer?

Best option is to ring Customer option team , and Press the I am thinking of leaving option

Thanks.

I did select "I am thinking of leaving" option before entering the chat.

I was offered a deal for £31 which is a saving but not the same as new customers.

I assumed she had my account details in front of her so would know exactly what service i was on? Then preceded to tell me about my savings on my 18 month contract? Also how new customers are entitled to a good deal........so existing customers are not? Then how if i happy with the service i should pay a reasonable price. Felt like i was chatting to DELBOY.

Transcript of chat attached.

Not tried it but what would happen if you went to a third party to sign up for Plusnet as a new customer the day after your current contract ends ?
