Looks like PN now are becoming amateurs and even a total Lack of input from PN staff have they all left the sinking ship ??.

I dont know what happen to plusnet its slowly going down hill... its a shame because plusnet used to make us proud.

My guess, FWIW, is that parent BT have installed some new management which is totally clueless, and all the staff who used to be so helpful have jumped ship.

The staff here are excellent and i doubt they jumped ship , Most proberbly is the Bean pushers upstairs have told the staff you have more jobs to do , and they dont have time to look here

That too is a possibility, rongtw, but it still means management have lost the plot. Customer dissatisfaction is at an all time high - although the complaints all seem to be from 'new customers' - and there is no visibility of PN response to try and allay our fears.

Management lost the plot years ago when they started giving free BB offers with cash back .

So they get more customers ,,, Remove the Ticket system told customers we are getting better as we advertse for more staff ,,,,,, Removed 24/7 support because they cant get staff , Customers still told we will get better Now we can concentrate during daytime

Still offering Free BB offers , so they Cut Upload speeds to save money and change from 40/10 to 55/9 what a debarkle that was

Now they moving to what we were told was a better network " the NEW network " What a mess they made of that

and dont even mention this move to lithium forum

Exactly @rongtw - but what worries me is that these things are so amazingly obvious, and yet PN still seem to be oblivious - I just cannot understand the logic (or lack of) being displayed here.

its only a matter of time before more and more customers jump ship from plusnet, Bt wrecked their company and now they are doing the same here. Like you guys said the staff here over the years have been great its a shame we dont see them as much anymore.

As for bt taking over things............... just look at all the complaints in all services forums and feedback .... loads and loads of unhappy customers its shocking but i guess BT is used to all this so its not going to bother them in the slightest.

The only way to improve is to remove the idiots who make all the marketing decisions , stop advertising for more customers until network is fixed , and have enough competent staff to deal with problems swiftly

There have been responses from PN staff such as Bob Pullen when they have something worthy to say.

Would a daily running commentary really help if all they had to offer was "we are working on it"

I would rather staff work on the issue than sit at a computer typing daily reports here.

what i was referring to was the Inability , with what is such a Large problem 56 pages i believe .

NO one has deemed it necessary for a post in service status / Announcements to inform customers what is happening ,,

if such a post was forthcoming the Thread may not have reached soo many pages as they would just look there

I echo @rongtw's point. The thread on packet-loss is (as I write) up to 62 pages. There are contributions in there from @bobpullen and @dave but they are hard to find. I certainly missed some of Bob's most recent posts.

PlusNet haven't been willing to put such posts into a separate status thread. I wondered whether Lithium provided a simple, automated way in which posts from nominated individuals on a particular thread could be copied into a separate thread - in this case something like "PlusNet on packet-loss". And, if it were possible, whether there would be support for doing so? This is, apparently, going to go on for another couple of weeks.

Exactly my point ! even tonight New customers posting the same ,, IF PN put announcement then people would see it and presume they are looking for a FIX .

BUT no PN will not admit to having a problem

Problem is its the Excellent staff on here who have to front the customer , with their hands tied by the Bean Pushers upstairs ,,, WHO are taking PN downhill every day

Ps Yes i know we are wasting our time ,as no one up TOP ever listens to customers , only to Bankers / shareholders
