How peculiar. I get chevrons over loads of the icons, even without hovering over them. Also using Firefox 47.01:

Edit: Ahh, it's because I have this extension installed and the option below enabled (the images are gifs):

Save

Firefox 47.0 and 47.0.1 with Logitech Gaming Software

Just checked and it doesn't do it in IE11

Just realised - at least in 47.0.1 the mouse cursor doesn't change (it still changes from the pointer to the hand but the other is in addition)

Note that it doesn't do it on the Firewall and Automatic Setup icons

Having used Waterfox for quite some time I switched to Firefox when v47 came out.

However I was having issues like opening a reply box and noticing the icon strip missing.

Also buttons not working without a restart of Firefox.

I therefore switched back to Waterfox as soon as v47 was released and (fingers crossed) have had no issues to date.

Ditto. Oddly it doesn't happen on my work lappy that's running an older version of Firefox.

47.01 must have broken the extension a little.
