BT Sport replacement card

I have tried to get a new sky card for BT sport as faulty sky box replaced but after 12 days I am still waiting for a card. I then find out I can do it all my self by pairing my old card to the new box which I have now done. My point is why could Plusnet not have given me this advice/ instructions and saved me a lot of hassle?

what does plusnet have to do with your sky card and your bt sport subscription?

Originally, BT Sport on Plusnet was available through the Sky satellite service. Now that they've got their own Youview box, it's available through multicast iptv. Since Plusnet are providing the service for BT Sport (assuming he has got it from them), it has everything to do with Plusnet.
They still do provide the sky platform though

Yes I purchased BT Sport through Plusnet via the Sky platform as I had a Sky dish and I still continue to pay Plusnet for this service hence I can only ask for assistance through my supplier i.e Plusnet
