I've checked my usage again having gone past a normal weekday since I disabled the video test. When I first posted I was cautious to avoid over stating the issue but it's now clear I'm also seeing approaching 5GB per day drop since disabling the tests.

Video testing beta
Has anyone checked how much their usage goes up when they enable the Video Test beta?
I'm pretty certain it's way more than the 13GB per month it says in the pop-up when you go to enable it.

which about ties in with my numbers as the off peak is 1/3 of the total so that would indicate about 2GB per day
I suspect that it depends on the connection speed as Netflix is dead steady at 15.6Mb/s and the odds are that it tests for a predetermined time not a predetermined download
