have you not learnt from the furore over the higher interest rates from banks for new customers that these offers are a wonderful way of pissing off loyal customers who have been with plusnet since it started.

Right...and you expect banks to offer saving rates for all above the base rate?!
Most bonus rates are not exclusive to new customers and they are capped.
