Try calling the customer options number (cancellations) rather than going on line. They can often sort a great deal out for existing users.

I was looking at my options last night. I'm currently on "Value Fibre 40GB" with 10 months to run. Looking at my account change options it tells me that I can have "Unlimited Fibre" for £14.99 instead of £15.99 for the 40GB I'm on. The page says:-
" Unlimited Usage Allowance
 32.4Mb download speed (estimated)
 6.1Mb upload speed (estimated)
Change to this package and remain on your current 18 contract (10 months remaining)
 Designed for demanding users"
Seemed like a 'no-brainer' so I went ahead. I did some double checking and it seems that if I go ahead then my current contract actually changes in that I would lose my £3.50 special offer discount.
I've cancelled the change but the wording from the web page isn't accurate in my opinion and nearly caught me out.
p.s. Thanks to Amy and Joshua for their polite efficiency by the way.
