Anyone got any experience of PlusNet throttling usenet access. Just switched to them after 5 happy years with adsl24. never been throttled or had any issues. tried to use it tonight and found speeds getting down below 400Kbps on a 76MB unlimited fibre line. bloody rubbish so much for line speed access all day. If plusnet don't have the capacity or the will to provide what they promise I think they should be called on it. Oh well only 17 and a half months til I can leave
Ok rant over
Can you check again tonight? We did have 2 end points last night which may have seen poor performance on the lower queues and might have caused what you were seeing. We're having a look to see why at the minute as we've just flexed up so should have loads of capacity and it didn't look like a balance problem.
I have no problems getting my full speed from my providers, using unlimited fibre and newsgroupdirect.com.
Check your number of connections and maybe change the port you are using.
