Customer Service 'Hold' Music

The music you have playing while on 'hold' is by far the most entertaining I have ever experienced.
I enjoy it so much, almost to point I almost wish noone on your end would answer my call (sad, but true!)
My only suggestion would be to turn it down a bit. It can be quite deafening at times!
That is my sad little suggestion

Lmao - I wasn't expecting that.
When I was an IT Manager, I hooked up our phone systems music on hold input to a sound card on the server which had a loop of around 20 songs playing which I'd try and change every month or so. I was told off when the customers used to ring up and ask to be put back on hold because they were enjoying the music

Where I last worked I set up a dedicated CD player plugged into the phone system.
Occasionally it would take it upon itself to shut down.
The resulting silence on hold made regular callers think they had been cut off and would hang up and redial.
Frustrating for the caller and the called.

I used to find the natwest music rather nice if I say so myself. I rang them up once and when they said they needed to put me on hold I told them to be extra slow and have a gossip with a colleague as i liked the music
I did ask them for a CD of it. Can you believe they turned me down saying they didn't even know where to get it from? - Idiots - it's only on their phone system.. not too hard to ask the techs where to get it is it?

There should be a spotify playlist if the music is popular.
Personally, I suspect it lacks metal. I'd like to hear what Adam Walker would have as the hold music.

Personally I find the music infuriating. A choice would be nice e.g. Pop/bljues/classical/rock. It has to be said if call waiting times were decent it probably would not be such an issue anyway.
