What has happened to load balancing? Having to gateway hop too much lately to get a stable speeds for downloads/watching video streams.

Hi Gus,
The balance is pretty good at the moment. It may be that some gateways have get heavier users on than others, this would even out in a few days.

So are the gateways balanced by the number of users, or by traffic loading ?

We try and do both, however the nature of the balancing means that the more active (and therefore heavier) users are the ones that move between gateways more, hence they can end up on the same gateways causing those to have heavier load than others. This does even out over time.
