Why did they not tell me?

I'm a bit cross, in fact I'm a lot cross I've been a Plusnet business customer for ages, and I've just discovered that the cgi world is going to stand on its head. in fact its planned to happen in April 2009, - NOW!
Now surely Plusnet know which of there customers are using cgi, so they could have sent us all an email saying that they are planning on upgrading, and do we wish to participate in the trial, and lots of nice words about it being a seamless upgrade etc.
I would have jumped at the opportunity, but its only when I start to investigate what features were available that I stumbled across a the community forums and the wealth of knowledge there within. I've never needed them up to now.
So why did they chose not to tell me? and what else have they not told me about.
Marketing works be telling customers about things, not keeping them hidden.
so instead of telling me about referrals all the time, help me to sell you by telling me your plans!!!!
