topic Fault reporting - phone fault in Plusnet Feedback

I have no idea if BT have fixed it or nor as the crackling is intermittent.
However this post is about the Plusnet response/actions.
I phoned this morning to the voice line faults and asked if he could hear the crackling on the line. When he confirmed he could I asked that a fault be raised.
Early this afternoon I had a call from Openreach checking the line (no noise - so it may have gone away or it might have been fixed - I am not holding my breath on that one).
The point is that from reporting the fault to Openreach doing something - less than 4 to 5 hours - i am really impressed. It beats the ticket system all ends up and I didn't need to answer loads of irrelevant questions.

Hi Jim,
Great to hear that Openreach acted on our raising a fault so quickly.
Any reason why this is in the forum of rantage? Or are you saying that you called BT instead?
