What sort of system is BT running. Just look at my following BT speed test. IP Profile for on PN line is - 15000 Kbps.
How can I get a download speed of 10743 Kbps with a profile of 10000 Kbps and why is my profile only 10000 Kbps when my connection speed is 14335 Kbps?

Download speedachieved during the test was - 10743 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 4000-21000 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :14335 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 1117 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 10000 Kbps
The throughput of Best Efforts (BE) classes achieved during the test is - 14.62:23.0:62.38 (SBE:NBE:PBE)
These figures represent the ratio while sententiously passing Sub BE, Normal BE and Priority BE marked traffic.
The results of this test will vary depending on the way your ISP has decided to use these traffic classes.
2. Upstream Test: -provides background information.
Upload Speed
942 Kbps

0 Kbps 1117 Kbps
Max Achievable Speed
>Upload speed achieved during the test was - 942 Kbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 1117 Kbps

Nope, your BT profile is 15000 ATM, that's taken from line diagnostics I've performed. It looks like there may be an issue with the speedtest.
