I have Home Phone Evenings/Weekends and Broadband Phone. This Home Phone account charges 0845/0870 numbers during the day. BB Phone charges for 0845/0870 numbers at all times.
It is very confusing remembering which phone packages charge and which don't. And since other providers do not charge at all for these numbers I think it is long overdue that PN made them free at all times.
I also believe the charge for 0845 numbers is 7.5p/min which is a criminal.

Ofcom regulations brought in the change to whether or not 0845 / 0870 numbers were chargeable and applied to fixed landline operators. BB phone does not come under these regulations and our prices are determined by those of our provider, Gradwell.
However, I echo your sentiments to my mobile provider, I've run up massive bills calling the bank / my solictior / the estate agent, buying my first house.
Edit: typo

Yep. I was wrong about BT. And the TalkTalk product I was on before switching to PN Phone isn't available anymore.
So PN are just following the others. How about setting a lead and making them free at all time for all products.
