bank holiday phone charges?

looks like plusnet charges for phone calls made on a bank holiday. i believe all phone providers charge (possibly bt do too), but it would be a marketing advantage if plusnet offered bank holidays as inclusive minutes, like weekends.
it would definitely help me and others build more confidence in our isp!

Nice idea, assuming you are referring to Talk Evenings and Weekend hours then there are no exceptions to the Monday to Friday 6:00PM to 6:00AM rule. I'm sure extending this to include bank holidays could be a good selling point as I'm pretty sure that other telcos don't do this too.
I'll go ahead and raise this with our consumer team now.

BT used to do this many years ago. I spent many an hour carrying out the changes at local telephone exchanges (clockwork ones)

They certainly did, though I was never directly involved - but ISTR it was only at Christmas and New Year (?)
I could well be wrong - it was a long time ago.
