Do you lose your connection only at certain times of the day, or is it all the time? If only at certain times, please say when.&lt;BR /&gt;2. How long has the problem been happening and when did it start?&lt;BR /&gt;3. What are you doing at the time of the fault (e.g. downloading large files). Does your connection drop when idle?&lt;BR /&gt;4. When you lose your connection is sync lost on the modem/router (i.e. does the ADSL link light start flashing or does it remain solid green?)&lt;BR /&gt;5. Do you have any other equipment on the telephone line which may affect the service (e.g a fax machine) . Is your PSTN (voice) service working OK?&lt;BR /&gt;6. Please connect your modem/router to the master telephone socket, leaving all other equipment disconnected. See if the problem still happens.&lt;BR /&gt;7. Has another modem/router been tested on your telephone line, or have you tested your modem/router on another telephone line which you know works OK?&lt;BR /&gt;8. Have you changed the micro filter to see if this is a problem?&lt;BR /&gt;9. Are you on a particular website when you lose your connection?&lt;BR /&gt;10. Is the session actually disconnecting (e.g. so you have to login again), or is it reducing to almost nothing (e.g. the session stays connected, but it is hardly usable)?&lt;BR /&gt;11. Can you reconnect again straight away, or do you have to reboot?&lt;BR /&gt;12. Do you use any other protocols and applications other than your web browser, email and FTP?&lt;BR /&gt;13. Do you get an error code when you log on again?&lt;BR /&gt;14. Have you added microfilters to all used points?&lt;BR /&gt;15. Is there an alarm system on the property which uses the telephone line?&lt;BR /&gt;16. Have you anything else connected to your PC besides the modem/router?&lt;BR /&gt;17. Please make sure that your modem/router stays switched on and plugged into the telephone socket. This will allow us to check your problem and make further tests.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;I set up to migrate to plusnet last Monday (22nd March), I have been keeping an eye on the broadband order tracker and from about Tuesday onwards have been stuck on 'checking your line'...We're running the final checks on your telephone line before submitting your order......&lt;BR /&gt;No problem has been been highlighted.....&lt;BR /&gt;I am migrating broadband internet only, there is no phone package involved...&lt;BR /&gt;Is this normal?.....I was hoping to migrate between 5 and 7 days and now fear this is unlikley to happen as for about 5 days been stuck on as mentioned above....&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Mand,&lt;BR /&gt;Many thanks for your reply, before joining this forum I read quite a few posts and noticed how helpful you have been (and the other staff here) and I get the general feeling you will go the extra mile to help your customers out.....an impressive and rare quality these days in my view........&lt;BR /&gt;I just checked the order tracker and its given me a different date to what you have posted.....it says......"Activating your line,Broadband orders typically take a week to complete.&lt;BR /&gt;Your broadband order should complete on 31st Mar 2010 - After 12pm. Please note that this date can sometimes change. We'll let you know if this happens"&lt;BR /&gt;Please could you confirm which date is correct.&lt;BR /&gt;Keep up the good work, its most appreciated.....</description>

If you notice that the line is in sync when plugging the router in please let us know and we'll activate the account for you. If not it should activate tomorrow automatically.</description>

      <description>Hmm, it shouldn't lose sync at all during the process as I understand it. I suspect the only way to tell is if your login details for the previous provider stop working I'm afraid.</description>

      <description>Hi dogwhisperer,&lt;BR /&gt;I've just checked the migration order and it is not yet complete. Just to reassure you it is due for today and I cannot see any issues with this. Just to confirm though your connection should not drop as the result of a migration taking place so if you do have any concerns about stability or speeds you might want to query that with BT if its causing you any major problems. Alternatively you may wish to hang on until the migration to us has gone through, if there are any problems (which we don't forsee at all) we would be happy to help.</description>

      <description>It can take anytime up to midnight to complete, it's still showing as 'committed' at the moment, this is the stage before completion. Hopefully overnight it'll flick to 'completed' and you'll be able to get online with us.</description>
