Can Digital Landline support more than one phone socket and handset?

I have 4 separate phone sockets (for my analogue landline phone line) around my house, with a working phone handset plugged into each. The instructions for Digital Voice tell you to plug your phone (singular) into the router. If/when I go digital, how/where do I plug in the other 3 handsets? (Or do I lose the other three as the price of "progress" ?)

You do realise that Plusnet are not providing Digital voice don't you ?

That aside, here's how to enable use of existing sockets with Digital voice https://support.aa.net.uk/VoIP_How_to:_Voice_reinjection

NB its easier with a Full fibre connection as the incoming copper pair are no longer used and can simply be disconnected at the mastyer socket

Thanks for your help, but I'm confused, if PlusNet is not providing Digital Voice, what happens to my landline, which of course I want to keep? Or is it called something different by PlusNet? If the link you have sent me is what needs to be done, presumably that's a job for OpenReach?

@clivej28 As has already been stated Plusnet are not providing a digital voice service, you have the choice of moving to an ISP that does offer a voice service, such as BT or EE and others, or going to a third party Voip supplier, you will need some new hardware to support this. Have a look at the many threads on the forum about this.

Now I'm really baffled and surprised. It seems common knowledge on this forum that PlusNet are not providing a Digital Voice service - but it's news to me, as an existing PlusNet voice customer, why haven't they told me this? I have taken the advice and read a few other conversations, these other conversations did not seem relevant until I understood the "common knowledge". It looks like I will have to just kick the can down the road by renewing my current PlusNet broadband and analogue phone until the analogue switch off happens.

You can indeed renew as is. At the time Plusnet ceases to support PTSN services users will be advised. Until that time or a user migrates, or seeks to upgrade it’s not an imperative communication.

PlusNETs current product descriptions clearly indicate that voice services are no longer provided. This subject and the options have been discussed well on this forum board.
