I amended the free phone extras on my account and the message says "this will be updated on the next working day". It has now been ONE WEEK and they all still show "awaiting activation"!

What did you 'amend'? The system is very creaky, you will need to either call up, or wait for a staffer to see this post.

Was that a removal of the services? AFAIK, they are 'on' by default.

Not on ours it wasn't. It shows on the website as "additional call features" , so have now tried to add them

Sorry - I did say 'AFAIK', and I'm sure I didn't have to activate them when I was with PN, but that is a few years back now.

A thought I had after I had shut down last night - are you a new customer? If so, you will not have a landline service, there was a stop-sell for this in September last year.

I couldn't add extras to a phone line I don't already have 🙂 . Had the phone for ages

OK - so you've had the phone service for at least over a year, but only just decided to add these extras - fair enough, although I thought it was an OFCOM mandate that at least the caller display was on by default.

As I said, call them up.
