      <title>Loss of Service Compensation</title>
      <link>https://community.plus.net/t5/Home-Phone/Loss-of-Service-Compensation/m-p/1946273#M38477</link>
<description>I won’t bore you with the details but I have a long standing support ticket from July where I lost my landline connection. It was finally resolved in October. Today I spoke to someone about compensation. I was told I would receive about £500…..BUT it will be paid into my PlusNet account. So presumably if I leave PlusNet before the £500 is used up I will lose it?! This isn’t compensation is it? Isn’t this account credit? I’m so angry I’ve already been in touch ofcom and the communications ombudsman. I wanted to message here before I also consult a solicitor. I’ve lost my landline, I’ve paid for a service I didn’t receive and now this. Thoughts please?</description>
