Home phone not working

Not sure if I’m posting in the right forum .
But have no working landline. Have broadband .. Live in area of no mobile service so really need help to sort this ..

@Sparker74 Do you hear anything when you raise the receiver/switch the phone on?

In any case, I would raise a phone fault via https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/phone/

Hey there @Sparker74 I can see they found a fault on the test and it should be fixed by Monday. Do you need me to do anything now at all?

Ok sooooo it’s Monday morning and still no phone working and no news about when it will be fixed ?
I reported this on Thursday so surely something must of been done? If not then why not?

@Sparker74 Fixed by Monday probably means by the end of Monday but with Plusnet's suppliers BT/Openreach having a general 48 hour response time (not including weekends) it may be they have not done anything yet and there's nothing you can do about it.

So I have had a word with Openreach and they have said someone is going out tomorrow morning to fix this for you. I have updated the ticket and will get back to you tomorrow to see if all is resolved.

I am sorry about this. They did advise us to check back tomorrow for an update as they won't five us any info at the minute. I will pop it on hold until tomorrow.

Basically we have had the same response but that they will be working on it tomorrow. On the ticket there is no reason as to why this has happened.

Friday afternoon and no sign of anyone !
Am really starting to get annoyed about this .No updates or any information on what is happening or in the case what isn’t happening..!!

I have tried to speak to Openreach today and they have told us to check back on Tuesday. It is irritating me, so I can only imagine how you are feeling. I am not in until next Saturday so won't be able to check it for you but one of my colleagues will have a look for you.
