Keep existing landline number

Hi I’ve just switched from TalkTalk today, I’ve received all my information but they have allocated me a new landline number. I didn’t see anything asking about keeping my number I just presumed that I would. My parents are both in their late 80s and I feel this would be a problem for them (even if I wrote the new number down they would keep trying the old one). We’re not moving house and have had this number for at least 30 years. Please can somebody help. Thank you

Thank you for reaching out to us and I'm happy to hear that you've recently decided to take out our services! We may be able to retain your current number, but it can depend on the circumstances - which provider are you currently with?

So they are - my bad! In that case @amp990, just let us know once the phone line's gone live and we can look at placing an order to change your number to the old one. Of course, if you have any questions in the meantime, just let me know and I'll be happy to help
