I've cancelled an upgrade, there was some confusion about the landline which I don't want lose a present. I've cancelled via phone call which I've had confirmed by email. But in the post I've still had the router delivered. How do I return it.

Depending on your current contract expiry, type (ADSL or FTTC) and the policies applied to your exchange (FTTP priority or not) , you will have to deal with this sooner (or later).

However there are more options for keeping your phone number (better, cheaper, not EE) than Plusnet want to tell you about, especially via their 'spam and slam' phonecalls and the scripts the call centre are told to follow.

They require more 'legwork' on your part but might be more suitable.
