Gift Card email

We have recently switched to Plusnet and part of the deal was that we would receive a £140.00 gift card and that we would receive an email with instructions on how to claim it. I keep checking my emails (and junk) but haven’t received anything as yet. How long does it normally take to come through please?

When did your service go live?

The email to register a claim is sent 10 days after go-live. Have you checked your junk folder.

It has now been two weeks and I haven’t received the email in either my inbox or junk mail. Should I wait longer or contact Plusnet by phone? Thanks for your help

I have recd a gift card email that went to my junk folder, it says the link is not secure?
therefore I have not gone any further in making my claim.

no answer on the phone lines and I am very,very surprised a company like plusnet do not have a customer service email address.

help required … also address on the email is different to plusnet this is the balance pinfold st Sheffield

Ah that scare tactic. Is 'security' actually required?

Unless the destination requests the entry of information does any FUD over "security" become a meaningful concern. These scare tactic message usually arise from using only http:// rather than https:// connection protocol. If the target website does not ask for information, then the encryptions is not essential.

If however some AV service suggests that the site is "risky" then that is a different matter - that is a URL which has acquired a poor rating for various reasons.
