Your requested date is just that. Unfortunately the actual date depends on Openreach availability. You will receive a committed date in due course.
When looking at EE cancellation charges you should bear in mind that you pay for broadband services in advance. Consequently, if you leave during the last month of a contract, the cancellation charge is a reduction in the rebate you are due for the days between the date you moved and the end of the contract, not an additional bill. Very often the nett cost is less than if the change over is delayed and you have to pay out of contract prices to your old ISP.

Hey Plusnet team,

I have just ordered my broadband package to move away from EE and join Plusnet. During the order I have selected to move the service on the 8th of October, 2 days before my contract with EE ends.

Plus net send back an email stating that provisional date is 18th of September, obviously EE gets the same notification and automatically informs me that I will be charged around £15 for early termination.

Shouldn't my request be recorded on the email after my registration? Will the service be moved over on the 18th of September or on the 8th of October as I have requested? What is the date that EE will assume as the cutover date?

Thanks in advance,

AlexT
