      <title>Broadband switch from Vodafone to Plusnet</title>

      <description>Hi, When I switched from talktalk to Vodafone it was done overnight and in the morning I plugged in my Vodafone router and it was working, so I'm a but put out to have plugged my plusnet one in this morning and it not be working, called customer service who said it needs to be manually switched as all switch overs do and it will be live by midnight tonight. I feel fobbed off and not sure I belive him, he didn't appear to check anything on my account and seeing as Vodafone was live instantly I'm jot sure why plusnet is not the same, I'm basically switching the same package like for like so can someone advise me what "manual" work needs to be done?</description>

The agent you spoke to was slightly wrong - there is no 'manual' work involved, it is all automatic, but because of the way the Plusnet system was set up, many years ago, it is slightly more complicated/slower than the much more up-to-date Vodafone system.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Basically, it should mesh together by 23.59 tonight, but is often earlier. If you still have nothing tomorrow, come back and let us know -&amp;nbsp; just occasionally, not everything goes to plan, but there are ways to sort it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;From what I can see the transfer order completed in our suppliers systems at roughly 10am, so our own systems haven't quite had a chance to activate your account. I've manually done that for you now, so if you setup your new router, you should be back online for the bank holiday weekend.
