I have moved house and have been told I have to move on to fttp instead of standard broadband. This will take over a month to set up. I was told this would be the same for all Internet providers. Is this correct?

Very likely, yes. Where fttp is available, Openreach have a program of designating areas as 'fibre priority'

This means that they will not accept new orders for copper based products i.e via a phone line, from any supplier.

The other problem is that Openreacnh are suffering lack of engineering effort in some areas which is delaying instzallations

Below the results window is their a narrative which states Priority Fibre Exchange (or something similiar). To confrim FTTP is available you should see WBC FTTP in the left hand window.
