There is a line here so no engineer has to come round. Plusnet did not advise me that I would contacted by Openreach and I now have received two texts from them Openreach. Plusnet have said not to plug in the router until broadband confirmed activated. These texts apparently from Openreach say I have to plug in the router before 8am so they can activate the line remotely. It appears to come from a number listed on the Openreach website and contains half my postcode and the correct activation date but I still am not sure if it genuine. Has this happened to anyone else?
