    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have just bought a house and signed up for Broadband and home phone (ticking the option to take over the old number - previous occupant was with BT, but has moved out of area so wouldn't be taking their number with them). I received acknowledgement of order and have an activation date of 30/11/22.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Today I got an email saying "Home Phone - Order cancelled". I certainly didn't cancel it so what is going on?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If the previous occupant has cancelled their BT service ( which is likely ) then there will be a cease on the line. Until that completes then any other ISP trying to place an order will get it cancelled&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Provisioning will be notified of the cancellation and should resubmit the rider but if I were you I'd call customer services just to check exactly what caused the cancellation.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
