As often posted here, our difficulty is that Openreach employs the engineers not Plusnet, nor any ISP, and Openreach does its own thing. When PN tells you November is the earliest appointment they can obtain, that's what Openreach has told them so you're pretty well stuck. Some people get a 4G router to tide them over, especially if they work from home. Could be useful as OR engineers are sometimes delayed on a difficult job or on an emergency ... doubly infuriating if customers have taken time off work to attend their visit.

Hi,

I'm already with Plusnet, but we're upgrading to Full Fibre when we move house. The earliest engineer appointment available on Saturday was 2 November, but when I rang back about a couple of errors with the order and to see if the engineer visit could be brought forward, the lady checked and sent a text saying there were no earlier appointments, but I could check on the online tracker. Where do I find this? I can see an order tracker on my account, but that seems to relate to my existing broadband rather than the new order. We're really keen for an earlier date, as we're moving on 14 October!

Thanks

Hi Phillipa78, I've been taking a look into this for you and I'm sorry to disappoint but there are no sooner appointments as it stands. It would be worth us checking this again between now and then for you (perhaps in about a week?) just to see if that's changed in light of any cancellations or postponements. So feel free to send me a PM next week and I'll pick this back up for you.

Thanks, I've never heard of a 4G router but I'll look into it. I'm supposed to be working from home from 17 Oct, but it looks like this is going to be difficult for the first few weeks after we move!
