      <description>I have recently switched and told I could keep my current number but in a email got given a new one. Is there a way of keeping it?</description>

&lt;P&gt;Thanks a lot for getting in touch and I'm really sorry for the confusion caused here. I've just had a quick word with our Provisioning Team and have been advised that the number has been recently ceased by the old provider. We therefore need to wait 14 days for it to come out of quarantine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In the meantime, we're processing a New Line Installation on a new and temporary number.
