I have got everything setup for IPv6 but it is not working. Any ideas?

You're not on the trial, which could be a good reason why. We're giving different login detail for those that are so that they can be assigned a V6 IP.

I am getting no IPv6 DNS addresses.

If anybody has anys suggestions please let me know. I am not getting a gateway IP address or DNS addresses. I am on the trial and this has been confirmed by Ben Trimble.

Just to clarify, sjrinfroyle is connecting on the IPv4 address issued to the IPv6 test account, looks like it's a router / computer config issue but I'm no expert to look into the problem!

Ben's confirmed that you are definitely on the trial and seem to be connecting to the trial account just fine.
Yep, we've noticed that you've posted from the v4 IP though, that suggests you need to change your config to specify the V6 address or allow the router to pick that up automatically.

I have followed that post carefully but I am still having a problem. IPv6 is enabled on my Billion 7800N but no gateway IP is being picked up.

I might be able to configure it manually. What is the Plusnet IPv6 gateway address?

Have you seen my posts on a problem I am having with IPv6 on the 7800N? http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,97833.0.html
The issue is still unresolved. I have some notes regarding my setup and also some notes on a manual workaround.
I would be interested to hear if you are having the same problem.
I can PM either of the notes to you.
Currently trying out 1.06f from the aussie. website but it has made no difference.
Waiting for one of the trial IPv6 582n routers to arrive to see what it will do.

I don't seem to able to pickup any IPv6 address from Plusnet, it doesn't appear on the status page on the router. I only get the IPv4 address.

Thank you for the PMs. On the Configuration - WAN Profile page, under Obtain IPv6 DNS, do you get any numbers in primary or secondary?
My problem seems to be that I am not getting an IPv6 address, I am definitely on the trial.

Also, do the computers on your network have an IPv6 Default Gateway and DNS addresses? Those settings on my PC are blank.

Both primary and secondary are blank.
I have a static IPv6 set up on one PC which will work without the manual work around but dynamic on another which will only work after applying the fix.

I'm really not an expert, but I don't think you need to worry about setting up static IPv6 IP's on your computer. It looks to me like your router's not picking up an IPv6 block from our RADIUS server which is likely to be down to a config issue within the router itself. I asked for the first 4 digits of your IPv6 address earlier to make sure that your computer is set up for it (it is) and to check if you were getting an internal or external address (it's internal).

Oh ok. I am not an expert either! IPv6 is totally new to me. I have knowledge on IPv4 though. PeteB, do you get an IPv6 address on the router status page?
