I finally got around to trying Ubuntu 11.04 from a live disc this morning. To my surprise, it didn't get an IPv6 address despite being connected, wired, to my router.
Then I re-checked on my main laptop. That has got an IPv6 address but test-ipv6.com still scored it at 0/10 for IPv6 due to Teredo. This is curious as it was scoring 10/10 and I've made no changes.
So has anything been changed in Plusnet/internet land? Or is my router perhaps not as IPv6 capable as it appeared to be?
(I'm about to restart my PC so will report back if anything changes)

I'll be rebooting the router next - but that isn't convenient at the moment. However, it has not been changed.

No change on a reboot. Except that the download speed got reduced to 7.5Mb/s.
I've now switched back to my normal account, with IPv6 still enabled on the router though obviously I won't get given an IPv6 address on this account. This behaves in exactly the same way except that I'm back up to full speed.
Can someone from PN confirm that the test account was/is handing out an IPv6 address? And see why it wasn't running at FTTC speeds? If so, I'd like to do some more testing.

I'm back on the test account now. After a few reboots I have seen 0/10, 9/10 and 10/10 for IPv6 on Windows 7.
I suspect that the Billion is not as IPv6 capable as it ought to be. How are the other Billion users getting on?
(<S>I'm also still running at non-FTTC speeds on the test account whereas I get close on 40Mb/s from my proper one. But I can live with that for now and I may even raise a ticket - no reason why we shouldn't trial the IPv6 ticket-resolution process too</S>
My mistake, sort of. speedtest.net only reports the IPv4 speed. But IPv6-test.com gives:

Now something has changed because I used to get 30-odd Mb/s on both IPv4 and IPv6.

).
Just for a laugh I'm going to raise feature requests for IPv6 support with the manufacturers of all my non-IPv6 equipment to request that they add support. I expect this to be entirely ignored!
