Did you happen to ask if they were able to set reverse DNS for a specific IP6 address?

Back in the day, support were able to do that for my IP4 address.

Not as useful as delegating out a block, but potentially sufficient for a mail server.

Has anyone on the trial asked to have the reverse DNS for their block of IPv6 addresses delegated to another domain name server (such as Mythic Beasts) so you could manage the reverse DNS for you addresses?
If so how did you go about it?

Just in case any one is wondering I tried getting this done and it was forwarded to their network operations team and the answer was, "we don't have the IPv6 tools to enable this". So no chance of running a mail server on IPv6.
