Having problems getting my ipv6 account to configure properly on my router
Got the IPv6 account configured as my internet login and it assigns me an ipv4 address and works all fine
When I go to the IPv6 settings and select auto detect I get 6to4 tunnel as the detected connection type.
If I select ppoe and enter my ipv6 details, hit apply, nothing seems to happen, it just seems to stay connected to IPv4 and I get

I noticed a couple of netgear threads with similar issue but no final answer, has anyone been able to get it working? I need to pop out but when I get home I'll have another play with it!

What are the IPv6 options? Auto detect/Auto config?

6 to 4
Fixed
DHCP
PPPoE
Pass through
I've tried them all now to no avail. PPPoE doesn't seem to do anything which is odd! I'll keep googling!

Is this the only setting you can change?
Does it connect when you select PPPoE?

You want DHCP or fixed, DHCP preferable, so overide what its auto picking.
The trial is native IPv6 not a tunnel.

Surely it should be PPPoE no? Then the DHCP-PD assigns the addresses internally.

yeah I stand corrected.
choose pppoe and then if an options for it pick dhcp-pd

Tried both DHCP and PPPoE, also rebooted as well and all to no avail, i'll keep on googling and toying with it and hopefully figure it out!

Can you telnet to your router and run some commands from there?

No telnet I'll continue to play about with it tomorrow and see why it's not working!
