Well just tried to login using my "real" user id, and failed. Router rebooted and is logged in as the ipv6test user but as ipv4 ONLY. Updates are fine now. Will go back through setting it up as ipv6 again and see if it still fails.
I've not seen any problems myself. Do you have IPv6 working on Android for other aspects eg web browsing etc?
You could try installing an app from the online Play store as this 'push' action can sometimes help resolve certain client-side 'pull' issues.
Edit: Ah, I see you're sorted now.

It's the IPv6 on the Android that you need to be concerned about. Try something like Network Stats II to verify IPv4/6 addresses are being assigned (and/or online test sites).

Strange thing is it works on my Phone (LG-610) but not on 2 generic Android tablets.
I tried just now pushing the phone copy of Phonesky (the market) on to a tablet and clearing the cache etc. Still just sits there.
Doing a google on it, only shows issues with one phone and it works if you go via a proxy. So not sure what to try next. Anybody know of a free proxy I can try?
I haven't played with MTU's on the droid's as a simple disable fixes it.
I don't know and without a wireshark of the wifi I will not be tracing it, as I said life's to short.
It maybe different on "branded" devices, but all mine are cheap China tablets that work apart from this ipv6 issue with play store. As I say I can surf the store and it shows in the taskbar as downloading then just sits there. Disable v6 and off it goes, so it is not trying to download from an v6 address. Same thing happens if I push it from the pc via the store, it appears on the tb and just halts until v6 is off. (I need to stop and restart the download to get it to download though)
