we have been losing internet from time to time from 10 minutes to hours at a time, Plus net have found no fault their end. on my 3rd Hub 2 and this one didn't work at all for 2 days.

We 1st thought it was something to do with my Fired stick which was being used via a LAN cable, but after less than an hour it happened again with the PC, all connection, both wired and wifi go when any device is being used via a wired connection, being one particular connection or cable I could accept it being a fault in my home network, but not allowing any wired connection seems to me a Router problem? Right now it's only working with everything device being used on wifi, something I don't want,

By chance do one or more of the devices have a static IP set on their network adaptors
that are clashing with the Hub's IP or the Hub's DHCP range ?

Does the Fire Stick have any "custom Sky access software" or similar on it that could cause an network conflict ?

Do you have any other network devices or switches that could be configured in a network loop ?

Anything that runs a conflicting DHCP ?

The "dodgy fire stick" is a good call.

Disconnect all wired devices, then connect each one in turn in order of least "suspiciousness".

Consider carefully range extenders, and network connection over mains devices.

It doesn't sound like a physical router problem.

I once had a similar problem that turned out to be a problem with a device that had both a network connection and a cabled connection. It wasn't a printer but some printers can do this.

Anything change when the problem started?

Using a wired PC, when there isn't much other activity on your network, run this test - waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat

When the test ends, scroll down to where it says "Share Your Results:", press the [Copy] button on the right hand side,

then come back here and paste the result URL in to your reply.

While the test is running, keep an eye on the router's blue light, and check whether it goes orange ?

The next time it all plays up, unplug the Firestick Ethernet conection.

The more I think about this, the more I suspect that the Firestick is taking connections by both WiFi and the cabled connection and that's what is breaking your connection.
