Have a look at the attached and see what you can tell me. There has been some issues with a mysterious bridge tap fault that is intermittent, and then the router stopped connecting to the web. Still trying to sort it.

@doas No, you are not being hacked. It looks like you are using a BT Hub, rather than Plusnet one, and for some reason its security certificate is out of date.

If what you are wanting to do is log into the router, you should be OK. I think you can ignore all those dire warnings and go ahead, as you are simply logging in to the router in your own home. I don't know why the router's certificate is out of date. Possibly, as it is no longer being used on the BT Internet service, it is no longer registered with them for updates?

@jab1 a possibility ! but its more likely that its a Plusnet Hub 2 which has recently updated and is now forcing https:

The certificate is a 'self-signed' one and, since the Hub2 is based on the BT hub , explains the certificate name.

@doas just select the 'proceed' and set an exception to allow future access

see https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/Plusnet-Hub-2-new-firmware-forcing-https/m-p/2048138#M44610

No it is the Plusnet router hub 2 supplied. Not a BT one.

Then it's just the recent software upgrade to the Hub 2. Now requires https to connect plus login. It's not a problem (comments about this elsewhere in the forum) just bang on through, you are not connecting to anything outside your home network. But you will have to log in - using the Admin password - for anything on the Hub 2, from now on.
