topic Sudden poor WiFi connection in My Router

Hi everyone, wondered if anyone else was suffering with WiFi issues suddenly?

I've got a Plusnet Hub Two router, the WiFi connection (that used to be pretty rock solid, even outdoors) has suddenly dropped off a cliff. I use a laptop on a desk 5 metres away from the router and have been getting the "doughnut of doom" trying to load webpages etc. Our phones also really struggle, can't even get a signal in some rooms in the house, so much so that I've had messages from O2 to say that I've almost reached my data limit because it keeps switching to 5G!

I've noticed the firmware was updated to version v0.11.01.11071-PN on 1 June 2026 which kind of correlates with the start of my issues.

D/load a WIFI Analyser app; run to see which wifi channels are least used in your locale.
Then manually change router to that channel; it may be you have a new data greedy neighbour using
same channel as you.

This also happened to me on Tuesday and I also have a Hub Two, in the middle of the England match!! All wifi connected items were affected. Managed to get it back but cannot access the hub now, saying I need HTTPS to access, keeps redirecting me to this message everytime I try.
