What’s more likely than anything else is someone nearby has a router of the 5Ghz channel which might be interfering with yours. Download inSSIDer and inspect the wifi spectrum.

I have been using the hub 2 for just over a year now
i have had multiple devices run off the 5ghz band yet recently, all my devices have disconnected from it and dont seem to want to conncet to it again
a prime example is a PS5, you can select what band u want to use through the wifi settings and when on 5ghz, it says there is a problem or is to weak to connect. I havent added any devices to my house or moved the PS5 so i dont see why it would do that. I went onto the router settings and it seems all my 5ghz devices have been taken off and wont connect back up. The 5ghz band however says it is connected and running yet nothing i do will allow me to conncet to it.

Hi @Eltoraz,

Welcome to the Plusnet Community

A basic step but just to check since the issue began have you turned off your router for 30 seconds and back on? What about turning off the 5ghz band in the router settings and then back on after a few mins and then trying to reconnect the devices that use that you want to use that band?

If the issue continues worth testing a full reset of the router via the pinhole reset button on the back to see if that helps clear the issue.

Alex
