&lt;P&gt;As mentioned this could be a false positive, use this site&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.canyouseeme.org/" target="_self"&gt;https://www.canyouseeme.org/&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp; to see if this port is actually open, however port 4567 is used by TR069 which is used by&amp;nbsp; plusnet to manage their Hubs.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The previous post on this issue suggested money was being spent on his bank account, which was a worry.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The open port = 4567. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="" align="left"&gt;&lt;FONT color="#1d2228"&gt;&lt;FONT face="Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I note this is the same topic that &lt;I&gt;frank1847&lt;/I&gt; posed only yesterday – but no useful info has resulted from that. Is the more modern plusnet router safer?       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.plus.net/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/145422"&gt;@dice620&lt;/a&gt; I would treat AVG/Avast 'security warnings' with extreme caution - when I was using Avast on my Windows machine - 5 or 6 years ago, it kept on telling me Libre Office was a security threat.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Port 4567 can safely be left 'open' - it is used by TR069/CWMP to allow Plusnet to push updates to the Hub.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
