Anyone know much about setting up an Asus ZenWifi BD4 mesh with Plusnet FTTP? According to the manual, it seems to support PPPOE and acts as a router so do just need to plug it into the ONT and that will act as a modem (allowing me to ditch the plusnet router)?

I've not actually been able to try anything with it yet as 8 hours after her FTTP was setup, a cable clearly fell out somewhere in the street furnature or the exchange and we are now waiting for an Openreach guy to come out and plug it back in!

what is your existing setup

Also how many bd4's do you have?

note that the bd4 certainly can go into router mode and pass ppp credits over the ont

Hi Krusty, sorry for the delay replying, PN / Openreach just got us back online today! I have 3 BD4s thinking I may want to add a 4th at some point, but I believe that I can use anything with AIMesh branding it will just work with the mesh so will see what ASUS have on offer when I get to that point.
