@PeteL44 Usually 1-3 days via Royal Mail Tracked24, and yes it does fit through a standard letterbox

They are sent Royal mail 24H tracked. They are normally dispatched to arrive 2 to 3 days prior to scheduled install. You will get an SMS/Email when its dispatched. They are designed to fit through a standard letterbox but a lot depends on your postie, many won't even attempt to put it through...

Thanks - I am having a "free" upgrade with my contract renewal - just want to make sure I'll be around when it's likely to arrive. If it goes through the letter box even better!

You will be advised by text and/or email when it leaves the warehouse - the notification will include a tracking number.

To add my experience of ADSL to FTTP, the despatch is triggered ONLY once OR have confirmed the instal date.

For me PlusNet have been advised it is a 'two stage install' and reported that OR have said:

'First stage anticipated to finish by 19 Feb'

with the original install date I selected of the 20th being 'still reserved for you'

As such the hub had not been sent but was despatched manually instead - and duly arrived in 48 hours (Royal Mail on a Sunday !)

I guess I'll find out tomorrow if anyone turns up ....... certainly no 'digging' happened here.
