topic Connecting dongle. in My Router

Hi everyone. I'm new here.
I have a solar PV array with batteries. Control of the system is via a dongle which is its own WiFi network. This worked fine with my old Talktalk router but I'm struggling to connect to my new Plusnet router. It's probably something to do with setting up a port in the firewall. I'm not hugely tech savvy so please don't use loads of acronyms in your answers.
Thanks.

@MJDH Welcome to the Plusnet Community Fora.

I doubt it’s a port issue. Can you explain how you have tried to set it up? I suspect that the Plusnet hub uses a different range of IP addresses.

Try reading the solar system handbook and see if there’s a way of resetting the dongle so that you can set it up again from scratch

I think it might be helpful if you share the make and model number of the system in question.

Control of the system is via a dongle which is its own WiFi network

If it has a wifi dongle it may need the network name it's connecting to changing to match the new wireless name of the plusnet hub
