Odd DNS Issue

Since getting on FTTC [Yes, I was sloooow changing over] I hadn't taken any notice of DNS settings.

Tonight the Internet went 'off'

After a few resets and tests I discovered that adding Googles DNS manually to my clients got them back on?
So I went into the router and added the same to the DHCP settings.

I then used DNS benchmark and realised that Plusnets published DNS

Primary 212.159.13.49
Secondary 212.159.13.50

where faster than Googles!

The issue seems to have been something to do with the router using the alterntives

Primary: 212.159.6.10

Secondary: 212.159.6.9

Odd that. Anyway, all working now.
