Router 2 Set Up

Good evening

Just been setting up a new router 2. I am assuming that you are unbale le to separate the SSID bands in the setting, is this true? If so what can I do when a smart lamp will only connect to a certain band? When trying to connect the bulb I get a message informing me that it is not possible to connect. It is OK with the router 1 and separate bands.

Login to the router management page and disable one of the WiFi bands. Then try connecting your lamp. If successful go back into the router and re-enable the WiFi band.

never thought of this. I will give it a go. Strange that only 1 device could not connect.
