Hub One router firmware - how to update

Hi, returned to using my Hub One router and after a couple of weeks online it still hasn't updated its firmware:

Plusnet Hub One | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.263 | Last updated 27/03/19

Anyone know how to prompt Plusnet to update it?

@ash73 How long has it been off-line? If it is a while, it could have dropped off the platform.

Probably a couple of years - is there any way to get it back on the update list?

@ash73 - assuming the serial number of your hub ends '143', then I have reprovisioned it at this side.

Try a factory reset by inserting something into the pinhole at the rear of the device until the status light flashes green.

Allow 5 mins or so for it to re-configure itself when it comes back up and you should then find the latest firmware is pushed within a day or two.

If your serial number differs, then drop me a private message to advise what it is and I'll take it from there.

Many thanks. One brief follow up question, the firmware updated but when I re-applied my saved settings the last updated date reverted back to 2019, so now it says:

That is strange, @ash73 , but you have the latest firmware anyway. I'll let Bob comment further, if he feels the need.

Depending on what is backed up it may not be recommended to restore the backup from a previous version as changes introduced with the latest firmware may not be compatible with the previous version of firmware.

I would see how the Hub One operates and if you notice any odd behaviour I would perform a factory reset and re enter your required settings.
